PFS has teamed up with partnering organizations around Philadelphia to launch the Philadelphia Music Co-op (PMC). The Co-op offers showcase, networking, promotion, gig booking, and distribution opportunities. PMC employs co-op values of shared ownership and a holistic approach to development to help artists help themselves. After 14 months of research and development, PFS and partners have tailored the Co-op to respond to artists' needs in Philadelphia and beyond!
The Philadelphia music scene is vibrant and unique. Yet, after hearing from so many artists like you, we realized that there is not enough area support to help you develop your craft and build new audiences.

Showcase Opportunities:
The Co-op will offer 3 showcase opportunities a year to for members to perform for Philadelphia's most influential booking agents, producers, promoters, radio personnel and engineers.
Annual Dinner and Awards Show:
Each year, members can dine and network with top-notch music execs and artists- catered by co-op partner Bon Appetit Catering. Awards will be given to Co-op members who display development or artistic success.
First Crack at Gigs:
Co-op members will get first crack at playing events for PFS and partner organizations. Co-op partner Sonicbids will offer free submission for Co-op members. Sonicbids will allow the Co-op to determine appropriate venues for your music and listen to every submission received!
Sponsorship Opportunity:
The Philadelphia Music Co-op will select two artists who each receive a $500 sponsorship to South by Southwest, Folk Alliance International, or another comparable festival or conference.
Consultation Session:
The Philadelphia Music Co-op administrators will brainstorm some "next steps" to your professional and creative planning. Your focus should be on the music. Let Co-op partners help in all the other ways to get that music out there. Join now and schedule your consultation!
