If you were still unsure of whether to camp at the 48th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival, there will be an Exclusive Thursday Night Concert for All Festival Camping Ticket Buyers:

Featuring NPR's World Cafe with David Dye with music by

Jill Sobule - Best known for her Top 20 hit "I Kissed a Girl," Jill Sobule plays music today that is at once deeply personal and socially conscious, seriously funny and derisively tragic. In the words of New York Times pop music critic Jon Pareles, "Jill Sobule can claim her place among the stellar New York singer-songwriters of the last decade. Topical, funny and more than a little poignant ... grown-up music for an adolescent age."

Deer Tick - Quirky Rhode Island group Deer Tick play witty, ironic freak folk and alt-country jams. They grace the Camp Stage in keeping the lineup of fresh young artists at this year's Philadelphia Folk Festival.

...and the night will close with an acoustic tribute to Led Zeppelin by Get the Led Out.
