Directions to the Philadelphia Folk Festival
From Central Philadelphia:
Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) west to exit 26-B (Rt. 202 S). Follow signs to Rt. 422 West, take Rt. 422 West to Rt. 29 North exit. Rt. 29 North to Schwenksville. Follow Festival signs.
Alternative: Take Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) to the Blue Route (476) North to the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Take NE Extension to the first exit, Exit 31, Lansdale. After toll (50 cents) take Rte. 63 west 5 miles and follow the Festival signs.
From Northern Philadelphia:
Rt. 73 West (Church Road) to Schwenksville; then follow the Festival signs.
From New York and Northeast:
New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 6, Pennsylvania Turnpike; take to Northeast Extension (toward Allentown), first exit (Lansdale, Exit 31); turn right to Rt. 63 west 5 miles and follow the Festival signs.
From Baltimore and the South:
I-95 North through Wilmington to Rt. 202 North. Rt. 202 North to Rt. 422 West to Rt. 29 North exit, then Rt. 29 North to Schwenksville. Follow Festival signs.
Alternative: Take I-95 North to I-476 to Northeast Extension of PA Turnpike. Get off at Exit 31, Lansdale, turn right to take Rt. 63 west 5 miles and follow the Festival signs.
From West via the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
East to Northeast Extension (476N) to Exit 31, Lansdale. Turn right on Rt. 63 west 5 miles and follow the Festival signs.
