From August 19-21, the 50th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival will be presenting some of the most authentic and incendiary performers in folk history. As part of the celebration, Yards Brewing Company has brewed its first ever lager- Yards Folk Fest Lager. This will be the first tasting of the brew- which won't be sold until after the event, with our VIP's seal of approval. And this year Black Walnut Winery joins the 50th celebration with a great lineup of local wines, also available at the VIP event. In addition to great beverages, the Philadelphia Folk Festival is giving you a chance to meet many of your favorite artists from Friday's lineup and sample some exclusive beers and wine while sampling cheese, chocolate, meat and other locally sourced products.
This is your chance to hang with Roy Book Binder, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, Alexis P. Suter, Tempest, Hoots and Hellmouth, Birdie Busch, and more! Local breweries being featured include Flying Fish, Stoudts & Troegs. Soft drinks and local farm-fresh food will also be served. A commemorative VIP bag will be given to each participant.
