What to expect at the Philadelphia Folk Festival

Over 80 hours of music over four days with dozens of amazing performers on six stages! The Folk Festival attracts some of the best known and emerging local, regional, national and international acts.

Bring your dancing shoes! Swing your partner on the 3,500 square foot dance floor in the Lobby Tent near the main entrance.

For your kids: special expanded programming with childrens' concerts, jugglers, make-your-own-crafts, storytellers, sing-a-longs and a great place for parents to relax in idyllic Dulcimer Grove.

Open Air Juried Craft Galler and Festival Merchandise Tent: Treat yourself to some Festival gear, performer CD's; shop for handcrafted clothes, jewelry, pottery, glass, toys, musical instruments and so much more.

Camp

Camping is the ultimate festival experience! Enjoy four days of music and great fun, and four nights of impromptu music jams and campfire sings. The campground has tent, RV and quiet family camping, showers, secure instrument check, a general store, free internet access, and the special camaraderie you'll only find at the Philadelphia Folk Festival!

Stay

Location: The Festival takes place in beautiful Upper Salford Township, just northwest of Lansdale near Schwenksville, and is easily accessible from the PA Turnpike or Route 73.

Food: Cuisine of all sorts is available in the concert area during all events. Knishes, crabcakes, vegetarian, funnel cakes, Greek, Chinese, corn on the cob, fries, pizza and ice cream - something to satisfy any appetite. Food is available in the campgrounds 24 hours a day.
