The Philadelphia Folksong Society is the premiere folk organization in the greater Philadelphia region. Known nationally and internationally for its famous Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Society offers a wealth of benefits for members. Join us today!
Free Monthly Concerts, House Concerts, Workshops and Sings; Discounts to Many PFS Events. At monthly Sings, the Society's family of talented musicians and singers gather together for an evening of great music, food, and fun at a member's home. House Concerts feature talented musicians in an intimate performance setting several times a year. Our Workshops are instructional programs where performers and teachers provide hands-on instructions for all skill levels. The Philadelphia Folksong Society Newsletter offers a complete listing of folk events in the region, record reviews, Society news and feature articles. A special part of this website is reserved for members only.

Basic Membership
Basic members enjoy free and discounted tickets to PFS events as noted below. They also receive special emails and updates on folk music in the area, a copy of Tune Up, the PFS newsletter, special offers on area events, and more!

Associate Membership
Includes opportunity to volunteer at all PFS events that are open to the general public, with the permission of the Chair of each specific event; access to the membership area of the PFS website; and the monthly newsletter via email. No voting privileges.

Open to individuals who have never been members of PFS and Associates who have never held any other membership class. Provides all benefits of an Individual membership as stated below. Entitled to one vote.

Premium members are entered in special raffles for gift certificates, area event tickets, and other rewards!
